Telefon-Kanon
She She Pop
In pandemic times, going to the theatre is a distant memory in danger of slowly fading away. She She Pop can’t show Canon in front of an audience. So, in sketchy accounts, they conjure up unforgettable stage moments from memory to create a canon of stories afresh every night, together with their audience. For this, She She Pop switch to a medium that is just as ephemeral as theatre, but not as public and less vulnerable, at least in these times: the individual telephone conversation. Telephone chain, counselling, hotline: Telephone Canon is not a show, but a service. Whoever calls is put through to one of the cast of Canon on the phone and then hears about an unforgettable moment in the performing arts. But the canon is also open for your own stories and entries.
How do I participate in Telefon-Kanon?
You choose your preferred language (German or English).
You wait for the right time.
The hotline is switched every quarter of an hour: at 8 pm / 8:15 pm / 8:30 pm / 8:45 pm / 9 pm / 9:15 pm / 9:30 pm.
You dial one of the telephone numbers and (with a bit of luck) reach a member of the team. (You yourself remain anonymous).
You let them tell you about a special theatre or performance moment, and if you like, you tell them about such a memory yourself. (Loose fragments and individual images from an evening are also sufficient).
The recounted memories will be noted in a list and published on She She Pop’s page.
Almost everything that is not retold is forgotten.
