TRANSFEMINIST TRAJECTORIES – A BILINGUAL ZINE:

Our collaboration brings together transfeminist and queer perspectives from Romania and Germany. We aim to create a collaborative bilingual zine containing translations of provocative, insightfull queer and feminist texts from Romanian and German authors. The purpose of making the zine is to put into dialog transfeminist knowledge production and expression from our own geographical and cultural backgrounds, to contrast the usual one way stream of hegemonic knowledge production with an exchange between German and South-Easter European feminism and to share and exchange peripheric and non-anglocentric queer and feminist thinking in a language that is not English. We chose to focus on texts dealing with anticapitalist feminism, non-white feminist perspectives, deconstruction of masculinity, queerness beyond Western- and homo-normativity, as well as a transfeminist perspective on the environmental collapse.
